An elemental force is believed to be occupying the Wildcrest Mountains. This force caused the the Northern Giants to flee the north (Giants flee the north). This force also assumed to be the source of the two continent wide attacks on Pineme in the last year: Continent-Wide Elemental Attack and Day of Lost Heroes.
The Bastion Army sent out groups to scout the area, but none of returned. King Djodian of the Northern Giants mentioned that the elementals have some sort of thought detection spells.
