The Bastion

The Bastion is located in the north east of Pineme, in the plains near the Wildcrest Mountains mountain range. It started out as an encampment to defend the city states of Pineme from the giants, and ended up as permanent fortification.

The permanent structures form The Bastion Prime, which is a central keep with battlements and fortifications that face the threats to the north. The township behind the Keep lacks real organization, beyond the main roads that lead into the Keep.

Sprawling south from there is the encampments of soldiers being called for this new enemy. These camps form a rough line and each camp has a slightly different structure depending on the society from which it hails.

The Bastion is supported by the seven city states (which send out soldiers periodically) but is not controlled by any of them.
