Entrada
- We follow the trail to a Keep
- Crephi Ritsk scouts ahead and gets shot by Joss
- As we suspected, Petra Corraine and her crew are there
- other members: Sora and Morgan the owl familiar
- Petra's party spent 2 days traveling through the city from the west and have located a quarry 6 hours to the south which is guarded by Elemental Constructs.
- The Keeps are "Mighty Fortress" and are (replenished?) every 7 days
- They have noticed that The Labyrinthine City is growing exponentially and that the walls appear to be meant as a barrier, similar to locks on a canal.
- The city seems to be 60 miles wide (east to west) and 120 miles long (north to south)
- Before bed, we message allies
- Lumis Boneforge says that the cloud castle of King Djodian has fallen and they have little hope (of surviving)
- The Quintessence says that they have recovered their kin, though many are following Vys.
- We long rest and have donuts in the morning (thanks Nocana!)
- We head to the quarry through the tunnels that Petra Corraine had made
- Partway there we encounter a bulette, but we defeat it handily with the help of my magical webbing
- At the quarry
- it's 500' across and 500' deep, and we're about 100' below the top.
- there are "steps" going down that are 20' wide
- giants are working in the quarry
- it's guarded by 4 Elemental Constructs (2 rocky, 1 large electric lizard, and 1 small creature)
- there are also 2 humanoid elementals near the giants
- We give the city gong that we had picked up to Petra Corraine for her crew to use as a distraction as we go into the tunnel entrance
- We are able to sneak in with the help of "Invisibility" and "Misty Step"
- Inside the tunnel
- we hear rock tumbling noises as it opens into a chamber
- there's a swirling (liquid?) stone wall and two creatures in the chamber who turn out to be Zorn
- the Zorn attack Crephi Ritsk because they want the gem she is carrying
- they speak Terran
