Researching Aduin Merrel

 Continued from Answers for Nocana

After a wonderful morning spent at the spa, we set about researching Aduin Merrel. We found out that he goes out with a lot of women, one of them has apparently been missing... Most that we spoke to found him to be a pleasant person.

Nocana went and just bought so much stuff. Just random stuff... It was, frankly, kind of amazing.

Asking around we found out that the last two weeks there have been dead bodies of Elves found on Thursday morning... Deciding that this was likely too big of a deal to leave as it was (since it was a Wednesday), we decided to look into it.

That night we went out on patrol in the area near where the bodies were found. We went to a graveyard and looked for the graves of the victims where I meditated to reach out to their spirits. I was able to contact Drew, the first victim. It seemed that he was essentially scared to death, a terrifying scream and a horrible visage, and then dead. I asked if there was anything I could do for him and he asked that I look in on his wife Sila and kids.

While patrolling Nocana caught a glimpse of a ghostly form moving behind some trees, so we rushed to engage.

Finding ourselves in a heated battle with a banshee, we saw the terrifying being that we assume is responsible for these deaths... We defeated the banshee surprisingly easily and Nocana noted that the direction she was trying to flee in led to a graveyard, so we investigated there and found a mausoleum that seemed suspicious.

Going in we went down some stairs and found a room with something in it behind a door... Yuri burst through the door and we found a dead body and some Shadows!

After defeating the shadows, we examined the body and found that it was the person that went on a date with Aduin Merrel and had been missing! Ms. Melody was her name! Joseph is the guy that was looking for her.

We decided to take all of the information that we figured out to the guards.
