Battling the Dread Hound

Continued from Searching for Fae Spaces

Just a quick update... Doing a whole bunch of planning amongst ourselves and with the people trapped near Annalla's tree, we came up with a plan for defeating the Dread Hound.

In our planning, it was decided that Bobert the town smithy, and somewhat head of the village, and Rowan, a Wood Elf trapper, would help with the battle.

Nocana and I would lure the hound to one side of the safety bubble and keep it distracted there while Roshani Folkor and Yuri would head out the other side and find a good area for an ambush, setting traps and preparing for the battle.

We successfully kept the hound distracted for a while and then took off across the bubble to meet up and engage the beast.

The hound took a good thrashing at the ambush and ended up running away. We regrouped and set out tracking it, eventually coming across it's lair, underneath a great dead tree.

Entering it's lair, we quickly found Fredrick, another villager that had the Dryad's emberheart.

After another brief battle, we defeated the Dread Hound!
