- The mushroom boulders turned out to be spore covered triceratops, wyvern, and a troll.
- the troll was quickly banished
- the wyvern was annoying
- but we defeat it
- we do a short rest near a stream
- see shapes through the trees - giants are approx. 500' away from us
- we hear rumbles and trees felling in the distance
- I send Akashim up
- there's a large clearing with big holes, lots (~36) of giants
- about 2/3 are hill, troll, and ogre
- we invisibly stealth to the tree line and see giants who are working to expand
- there's an elemental that seems to be controlling them
- we long rest inside the tree line
- Nocana informs the Quintessence about our arrival and what we saw
- they say they will arrive 2 dusk's hence
- in the morning, we see that the tree line has widened by about 1/2 mile (?)
- there are carts going in and out
- we decide to place the door underneath a cart to hitch a ride
- we prep the items inside Royal Respite so that they don't move when the gravity shifts
- we are successful and notice the logs
- and we make our way to the lumberyard
