- Five years ago, Altin Brie was interested in the temple in Titan Maw (as learned from Hamid Folkor)
- Shopping!
- paper/ink for scroll transcribing (170 gp)
- ink/incense for "Find Familiar" (40 gp)
- healing potions (650 gp)
- other potions (365 gp)
- We go to the temple and end up in a small chapel to the side
- I investigate the stage and find a cabinet with idols
- Nocana investigates the tapestries and finds a loose brick with a lever behind Ioun's tapestries
- We discover that a bench is movable and we go down a winding staircase into The Sphinx' Labyrinth.
- We find a treasure cache - there are both ancient and modern coins there
- We find a 5 year old corpse - importantly NOT Altin Brie
- we learn (through "Speak with the Dead") that he's Patty Googan and he came down here with Altin Brie; possibly a lackey
- We are trapped a bit in the maze until we put a few new coins in the treasure and put back the old coin purse we had taken out
- We find a primordial teleportation circle
- we aren't allowed through until we put back the coins as described above
- Once we do that, we find a new door that has a woodland scene on a mural and a riddle
- We solve two of them, but Hamid Folkor has to solve the last
- Through the circle (door?), we find a find a floating island puzzle
- This requires "jumping" through an airless, gravity-less space from island to island, which float around in a somewhat aimless fashion
- Thankfully the islands themselves have air and gravity
- The islands appear to be broken up pieces of a dungeon, and some are more ruined and precarious than others.
