A Mysterious Storm

Continued from Hunting Kingston Roth.
Taking Kingston Roth back to his bedroom, I set the stage to interrogate him. Maintaining the illusion that I was Klayt Varie and making it look like we were talking in an endless field of dark, I convinced him that we were dead and I had some questions for him.
Through the interrogation I found out that Klayt Varie was involved in the sinking of Amestown approximately 140 years ago. The Dread King Godritch had begun converting the city of Amestown to worship Hades. The legend is that Poseidon sank the city in his fury, in reality Klayt and the organization she worked for used magic to destroy it because the city was very welcoming and they were racist.
When I felt like I'd gotten all of the information out of him that I was going to, I put my sword through his head.
We rushed back to Iliseth before things got too hot here. As we got into town the weather had started to turn to rain... Which was a bit odd for this region.
The following morning,it was still raining and a state of emergency had been declared by the king. We pushed our way out into the city and headed towards the city center. As we got there some monsters appeared out of nowhere!
The group of monsters split up, some heading towards the keep, some heading towards the temple. We fought and killed the ones heading towards the keep and then followed after the group that went to the temple, following them up to a pathway that leads from the temple to the keep where we caught up with them, along with some guards fighting them. So we joined the fray. One of the guards was Odolu Walks, the Captain of the Guard, and local folk hero.
After a pretty tough fight, we were finally victorious.
