Up The Mountain

Continued from A Mysterious Storm.

Investigating the corpses of the strange creatures that we fought, Roshani Folkor found that they were weird magical constructs.

Mercer, an advisor to the king, met up with us and discussed the situation. Stating that there is a temple up on the mountain that seems to be the source of the bad weather, he tasked us with clearing the problem. He loaned us several artifacts that the city held to aid us in the task.

• Amphotrite Scale, bracers that you activate as armor.
• Icarus Wings, provides flight

So heading up the mountain in the rain, we moved to toward the temple. The storm got worse as we ascended, feeling the lightning charge build up around us, several of us got struck by lightning, at which point I grabbed Roshani Folkor and, using the Icarus Wings, flew up above the clouds.

Arriving at the location where the temple should have stood, we found rubble and a large storm elemental and some stone dogs.

Of course, a fight ensued. And, of course, we were victorious... Though I did get knocked out at one point, I was able to rally and come back.
